Turrimetta Beach Sydney

Last year a mate and I went to Turrimetta Beach early one morning to do some beach photography. His name is Mike Salway - see his site here - and he is an amazing photographer who specialises in landscape and nightscape photography. The morning was fairly overcast until the parting of the clouds and the sun let the light in. Using a Canon 60d with Sigma 17-50 2.8 on a tripod. Shot most at f16 so they are a bit soft, next time will use F8 I think. Enjoy.

This was virtually dark, processed in PSE, shot raw

And then this great shard of light descended and made our morning
